THE GRAPE VARIETY WALK
The Marche des Cépages (Grape Variety Walk) is an 8km walk along a path through the vineyards of the Sierre region. What makes this walk so special? A host of stop-offs where local winemakers offer tastings of their wines, typical Valais dishes and other local produce.
FÊTE DE LA SAINTE-CATHERINE (Feast of Saint Catherine)
The Fête de la Sainte-Catherine is the opportunity for a festive weekend in Sierre. The programme features concerts, entertainment and a parade of Catherinettes wearing original, multicoloured hats, leading up to the election of Miss Catherinette. It's the Valais' leading open-air market, with 10,000 visitors over the two-day period.
FOIRE DU VALAIS (The Valais Fair)
The Foire du Valais (the Valais Fair) in Martigny is one of the leading fairs in Switzerland. This extensive fair features a variety of regional products, handcrafted creations, fascinating exhibitions, concerts and an array of rides and attractions. It's the ideal excuse for visitors to discover the region.
MARATHON DES SAVEURS (The Flavour Marathon)
The Marathon des Saveurs is a unique experience combining sport and gastronomy, featuring a 23km trail with 5 gourmet stop-offs. This sporting event is also the perfect opportunity to explore the world-famous "Chemin du Vignoble", which runs from Sion to the village of Salquenen.

Located next to the Salquenen railway station, near the village of Salquenen, the Hôtel Art Le Vin offers a border-free experience.
Just follow your mood, because you’ll be amazed at what our hotel has to offer! The Hôtel Art Le Vin is a truly vintage 60s and 80s setting. The hotel’s design, the entertainment (jukebox, bowling, etc.), the works of art on display, the sixties bar and our hotel rooms all take you into a time now past.
Art Le Vin knows no borders. It lies where the Lower Valais joins the Upper Valais, where German-speaking and French-speaking Switzerland meet. Our philosophy is based on a spirit of sharing and conviviality, inspired by the authenticity of Art and Wine.
In keeping with our philosophy of providing an atmosphere that fosters relaxation and encourages shared moments between visitors, wifi access is only provided on the ground floor.

HISTORY
It's hard to imagine how successful skittles used to be: it was the ultimate game, not for children but rather a game for adults that involved betting and drinking.
THE GAME
Skittles are the forerunners of bowling and demand great skill. Don't be deceived about the weight of the balls: they can weigh up to 10 kg!
OUR ALLEYS
Our Skittles game has two different wooden alleys. If the ball rolls off the wooden board, you've lost. May the best player win!
